Click the Stop button in the menu bar, which is in the middle of your screen.

Press Command + Control + Escape to stop the screen recording.

Tap the Stop option in the Touch Bar if you are using a MacBook.

After stopping the screen recording, you can go to Desktop or the selected folder in Options to check the recorded video.

If you use a third-party screen recorder, you can end screen recording on your Mac by clicking the Stop option in the Controls bar or using the shortcut the tool provides, which you can find in the Settings of the video recorder.

After stopping the screen recording, you can go to Desktop, which is the default storage folder for saving screen recordings on Mac, to check the recorded video. Or you can go to the Controls bar > Options in QuickTime or Screenshot to check the customized storage path and find the recordings.
